The idea
The basic idea was invented 100 years ago
have a watch
Weather balloons can be bought for 8 euro on ebay
This is the best deal i found on alibaba
Buy a reel of kite string for 40 mile stratosphere height.
Buy a bench power supply from alibaba for the price of a few wexford strawberries.
This can be used to make hydrogen which is not dangerous except in hydrogen cars when the tank is
pressurised to 800 atmospheres, ideal for an explosion if the tank hits a bump on the road or exploding
in you face when filling a tank.
The reason the Hindenberg exploded was static electricity from charge from flying high generating a spark when grounded with a steel cable this could have been stopped if they put one high ohm resistor on the steel wire hydrogen burns upward.
A fortnight 14 balloon can go up 40 miles for parachuting off the platform which is raised and lowered by the motor tied to the ground reeling in and out the kite string at 50 miles an hour up and down 40 miles.
A platform can be parachuted off of tied to this cheap fortnight 14 tayto park disneyland experience.
Warning: these have to be licenced, and flight control for aircraft have to be made aware of them, as the strings could cut plane wings, and, I don't want to fly into what is essentially still the same as world war II a hydrogen anti aircraft balloon.
Anyone for a theme park?
Inspired by #FIPrideJesus, faeries, including my dead aunty the lovely Margo Murphy who died after typing me an email on my bellybutton in St. Stephens psychiatric hospital Glanmire for my 50th birthday.
I told Google project loon guys to watch cartoons to get their balloons working all the best physics is there, their balloons only stay up for 300 days because they don't tie multiple ones together.
Look at Lawnchair Larry flight on wikipedia to see a real engineer.
Apparently the idea is not completely neglected, now defunct Project Loon didn't use the idea possibly because of high winds in the Stratosphere but I think it's good Tethered Balloon Wikipedia
like the green goblins lawnmower helicoptor Stan Lee for a Nobel Prize for physics and opening kids minds.
